Join us at the Digital Workplace Conference in Melbourne, Australia, from August 1st to 4th, where we are proud to be a Gold Sponsor. We are honoured to be nominated for the Digital Workplace Awards as the "Most Game-Changing Vendor," highlighting our dedication to driving innovation in the digital workplace and making Microsoft simple.

Speaking of innovation, we are thrilled to announce that the conference website for DWC Australia was built using Extranet User Manager, a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional digital experiences while leveraging the power of Microsoft 365. Learn more about our work with DWC New Zealand and Australia in this case study.

During the conference, our esteemed President Peter Carson will be leading two sessions that will provide valuable insights you can apply to your work:

  • In "Teams First Information Architecture and Governance",  discover the significance of starting with Teams when planning or updating a Microsoft 365 implementation. This session will explore the relationship between Teams, SharePoint, email, and OneDrive, and provide a maturity model for leveraging these tools effectively. Topics covered include the differences between Standard, Private, and Shared Channels, the role of Communication and Team Sites, external sharing in SharePoint, and practical case studies. Attendees will gain valuable insights into structuring their Teams and SharePoint environment for optimal collaboration and productivity.
  • In the session "Build a Leave Request Process in 4 Steps with Forms, Power Automate, and Power BI",  Peter will showcase a no-code solution for achieving efficient employee self-service processes. This session is designed for both citizen developers and professional developers and will guide attendees through a four-step process. The steps include creating a Power Automate workflow to collect employee data, utilizing a Microsoft Form for leave requests, implementing Power Automate workflows for submission storage and approval routing, and leveraging a Power BI dashboard for visualizing pending and approved requests. Participants will learn how to implement a secure and scalable solution that simplifies employee self-service and enhances organizational efficiency.
