Session Highlights
Power Pages Onboarding and Authentication - Secure and Simple
Power Pages is a super-extensible portal platform that is very well suited to providing secure access for external users to forms, workflows, data, and business processes. What it doesn’t do is deal with the authentication of those users. In this session we’ll cover the different options you have as a developer, and how you can use this platform in a variety of scenarios. Not a developer? Don’t worry, this isn’t a coding session, it is mainly an architecture session to guide you down the right path for your business case.
Options we'll cover are:
- Azure AD B2C
- Microsoft Entra External ID (Preview)
- Entra ID B2B (formerly Azure AD B2B)
- Third party products
- Roll your own identity provider
We’ll use real-world demo examples to showcase what the onboarding experience looks like both for invited users, and ones that discover and self-register. From there we’ll talk about and show the things you can do in Dataverse and Dynamics 365, and also how integrating Microsoft 365 can be done in a number of different ways.
Benefits of attending this session:
- What is Power Pages, and where would I use it with external users?
- What are my choices for authenticating users?
- Provide real guidance, so I can leave the session and do this myself.
