User Manager Mini-Webinar: Public Registration for your LMS365
The team at Extranet User Manager is delighted to share the second episode of the EUM mini-webinar series, in which we showcase our product features. In this episode, we will demonstrate how anonymous users can easily self-register for access to your external training Zensai, using a publicly linked EUM Portal.
Public registration is an excellent way to engage external users while minimizing administrative involvement. Organizations that want to make their shared resources and training publicly accessible benefit most from this registration scenario due to its simple but secure, user-friendly sign-in flows.
Some examples of use cases for public registration include:
- Prospective customers who want to learn more about a business's product
- Prospective volunteers who want to learn about the organization and role(s)
- Individuals interested in joining an association, who need to take training or provide documentation as a part of the registration process
- Salespeople at a partner organization that would like to improve their sales pitch for your offerings
- A company providing training to the public or to people who meet certain criteria
In this webinar, we will demonstrate:
- Guest user accesses the self-registration portal via publicly linked URL and fills in the required fields
- Guest user account is created in the underlying Azure AD and added to the appropriate groups that map to courses or training plans in Zensai
- Guest user is prompted to sign in with their own credentials
- Guest user is able to see what groups they have access to in the EUM Portal Members page, including the Training Plan and ability to self-register for other courses
